Sister Henry (Anna Mae) Lambert, Sister of Christian Charity, 82, entered into eternal life on May 4, 2018, at The Williamsport Home. Sister was born in Williamsport on Oct. 5, 1935, daughter of Henry J. and Pearl G. (Schmoel) Lambert.
She entered the Sisters of Christian Charity in 1955 at Mendham, N.J., making her First Profession of Vows in 1958 and Final Profession in 1964. In the earlier part of her life, she served the Sisters as a cook at various convents in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She managed the kitchen at Divine Providence Hospital in 1973 and coordinated “Meals on Wheels” from DPH in 1975. In May of 1980, Sister founded St. Anthony’s Center to provide meals for the poor. She continued her service there for 38 years.
Surviving are nieces and nephews: David J. Dincher, of Boca Raton, Fla., Karen (Frank) Pile, of Williamsport, Tim (Rita) Dincher, of Derrick City, Pa., Bill (Christine) Lambert, of Falls, Pa. and Bob Lambert, of Dallas, Pa.; great nieces and nephews, Jennifer Pile, of Pikesville, Md., Brandon (Kelsey) Pile, of Harrisburg, Greg and Amanda Dincher, of Derrick City, Pa. and Andrew (Jill) Lambert, of Moosic, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William L. Lambert and a sister, Hazel E. Dincher

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on May 6. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. May 7 at The Chapel at Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, followed by burial in St. Boniface Cemetery.
