Shirley A. Davis, 81, of Muncy, was received into the Lord’s eternal embrace Thursday, November 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Thomas E. Davis and they were married on November 19, 1966. Together they shared 36 years of marriage together until Thomas’s passing on September 1, 2002.

Born March 29, 1944, in New Albany, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Lila (Shaver) Flowler. Shirely was employed as a seamstress at local manufacturers including Relda’s and Wundies for many years. She also was a caregiver for family members who needed help. Shirley was a member of New Life Church, Pennsdale, for many years. In her early years, she was a member of Moreland Baptist Church. Shirely liked to read and going for rides in the country, especially in the Bradford County area where she grew up. She enjoyed swimming in the summer and outdoors. Shirley loved horses and watching cardinals. She enjoyed going with friends to restaurants in the area. She was a great storyteller, recounting stories from her childhood and younger years. She loved to laugh and joke around, especially with people she liked.

Surviving is a daughter Denise Davis of Muncy; granddaughters Felicia Shaub and Rachel Warren; a great-grandson Logan Davis; ten additional great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a son Gary Davis; a daughter Mechelle Davis; two brothers, Bill and Franklin Fowler; and two sisters, Joyce Stillwell and Jean Troxel.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the New Life Church, Village Road, Muncy, PA with the Rev. Bob Lauver officiating.
