Shelley Lynne Smith, 47, of Lock Haven passed away on March 12, 2019. Born on July 4, 1971 in Williamsport, Shelley is the daughter of Kenneth and Carol (Burgess) Scheesley.

A dedicated Susquehanna Transit school bus driver, Shelley enjoyed traveling with her husband, George Smith, and reading for leisure. George and she were married on November 4, 2017. Shelley was also a graduate of Jersey Shore High School.

Surviving her is her husband, George Smith of Lock Haven; her father, Kenneth Scheesley of Jersey Shore; her brother, Scott Scheesley; and her three children, Kimberly Bressler, Matthew Smith, and Aaron Bressler. Her mother, Carol Scheesley, precedes her in death.

Shelley’s Life Tribute will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00am at Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 West Fourth St. Lock Haven, with Pastor Reverend Donald Grant officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the church from 9:00am until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
