Sarah M. Robbins, 92

Sarah M. Robbins, 92, of Muncy, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at UPMC Muncy.

Born August 17, 1932, in Howard, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Diehl and Nellie (Bennison) Brown.

Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed baking pies and cookies and was a very talented seamstress who made most of her children’s clothing.

Surviving are two daughters, Ann Hilner of Muncy, and Debra (Stephen) Harvey of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Geoffrey (Amanda) Waltz, Elisabeth Foley, and Dr. Natalie Harvey; three great-grandchildren, Bryen Waltz, Xander Waltz, and Reghan Foley; a brother, Richard Brown of Mountainside, N.J.; two sisters, Marian (Tom) Lang of Milton, and Janice Brooks of Jersey Shore.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Richard Robbins; a brother, Robert Diehl; and a sister, Natalie Diehl.

The family would like to thank the physicians and staff of Muncy Place and UPMC Muncy for the wonderful care and compassion shown to our mother during the last six and a half years. It was greatly appreciated.

Funeral services will be held privately, followed by the burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sarah’s name to a charity of choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.
