Sandra J. Bright, 79, of Montoursville, died December 10, 2019, at her residence.
She was born February 17, 1940, in Watsontown, a daughter of the late James R. and Beatrice (Yocum) Criswell.
Sandra was schooled in Watsontown and graduated from Watsontown High School in 1958. She was active with the high school band and represented Watsontown High in both district and state bands in 1957 and 1958. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling.
She worked at Watson Theater, Philco Corporation, Montgomery Mills, Wundies, Inc., and in 2001 retired from Hallmark Cards and Gifts in the Lycoming Mall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Criswell and a grandson, Jeremy.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Herbert E. Bright; two sons, Craig E. Bright, of Colorado and Stephen W. Bright, of Wisconsin; a brother, James Criswell, of Watsontown; a sister, Patricia Hassenplug, of Watsontown; two grandsons, Dalton and Andrew; and a great-grandson, Keegan.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 16, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Rev. David B. Letscher officiating. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
