Ronald L. “Ron” Allen, 75, of Wellsboro, formerly of Jersey Shore, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home. He was born in Jersey Shore on June 4, 1949, a son of the late Clifford H. and Marie A. (Confair) Allen.

Ron worked as a manager for Schwan’s Food Service in Wellsboro. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and camping. Ron was a NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved to spend time with his family.
Ron is survived by two daughters, Pamela Repsher (Mark) of Dallas; and Rhonda Allen of Shavertown; five grandchildren, Joshua, Dakota, Ashli, Bentley and Joey; a brother, Richard Allen of Jersey Shore; three sisters, Shirley Smith (Jonathan) of Williamsport; Linda Bennett (William) of Jersey Shore; and Bonny Hook (Andy Magyar) of Jersey Shore; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special great-niece, Isabella Zimmerman.

A celebration of life service for Ron will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore with Pastor Kent Fowler officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodward Township Cemetery, Linden.
