Robert L. “Bob” Bower Sr., 70, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Bob was formerly employed with Dale’s Electrical, Harrison’s Meat Packaging, CA Reed, Bastian Tire, and retired from David R. Webb.

He could be described as a “jack of all trades.” He was a hard worker who always kept busy with tinkering and fixing anything that was broken. In his spare time he enjoyed his morning coffee and playing the lottery. Most of all Bob loved and cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his fiance, Donna M. Terry; six children, John P. Terry (Patti), Brenda L. Kelson, Anna M. Freezer (Matt), all of Williamsport, Robert L. “Bobby” Bower Jr. (Chandra), of Cogan Station, Donielle M. Bower (Aaron Fenstermaker), and Dayle E. Bower (Leah Dabback), both of Williamsport; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Bower and Harry Bower (Connie), of Williamsport; three sisters, Lois Welshan (Dan), of Jersey Shore, Judy Confer and Sherry Miles, both of Williamsport; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Bower and four sisters, Phyllis Hamm, Emma Kramer, Dorothy Vonada, and Shirl Bower.

A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to his son, Robert L. Bower, Jr. 925 State Route 973 East, Cogan Station, PA 17728 to help defer funeral expenses.
