Raymond S. Perchinski, Sr., 88

Raymond S. Perchinski, Sr., 88, of Eldred Township, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Manor Care South.

He was born on January 30, 1932, in Atlas, the son of Florian and Amelia (Shepulski) Perchinski.

He worked at the former Bethlehem Steel and was also a carpenter, a Korean War Army Veteran, he was a member of the Dietrick Lamade Lodge 755 F&AM and past master, Williamsport Consistory, an avid hunter and fisherman, loved wood working and traveling to Canada twice a year to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Raymond Perchinski, Jr.; grandson, Matthew Perchinski; two brothers, Robert and Eugene; and one sister, Nancy.

He is survived by his wife, of 66 years the former Clara Hakes; son, Frank (Joni) Perchinski, of Montoursville; daughter, BrenDena (Mark) Bardo, of Montoursville; two sisters, Marie Welteroth, of Williamsport and Betty Moyer, of Tunkhannock; three grandchildren, Heather (Robert) Higgins, Joshua (Lauren) Perchinski, and Mallory (John) Kieffer; and three great-grandchildren, Sean, Evan, and Hailee.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Ave Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

There will be no services.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
