Randy D. Brickley, 78

Randy D. Brickley, 78 of Blanchard passed away on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.

Randy was born in Lock Haven to Jacob D. and Lois M. (Sweely) Brickley on May 4th 1947. On September 1st 1974 he married the former Sandra (Phillips) Brickley who survives.

He graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1965 and worked as a truck driver most all his life.

He enjoyed playing golf with friends, Penn State wrestling matches, spending time with his grandkids and he loved to cook. He also enjoyed taking care of the stray cats that would frequent the house over the years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Later in life, after he retired from driving a truck, he found a way to continue driving for a living. He began driving Amish craftsman to various job sites. He did not think of this as a job but more like helping friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to Nathan, Elam, Putter, Samuel, Henry and Sue Stoltzfus and their families. He found a great joy in the friendships he made with all of you and would speak of you often. To Nathan and Elam, he spent a lot of time with you and really loved it. Thank You.

In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by a daughter, Bobbie Spangler of Blanchard; two sons, Randy R. (Ann) Brickley of Castanea and Michael A. Brickley of Avis; a brother, Tim (Sharon) Brickley of Mifflinburg; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Romola Bible Church on Friday, August 8th at 11AM with Pastor William Livermore of the church officiating. Family and friends will be received in the church 1 hour prior to services.
