Patty L. Snyder, 93, of Linden passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024.

Born November 2, 1930, in Montgomery, she was the last surviving child of the late Wilbur and Edith (Noll) Hall.

Patty’s journey began as a spirited and bright student at Montgomery High School, where she was a cheerleader and graduated as Valedictorian.

The energy and enthusiasm she showed in her youth never faded, and she remained one of the oldest living members of her class, carrying with her the memories and friendships that had formed in those formative years. At the heart of Patty’s life was her devotion to her home, family and faith.

She was an active life member of Pine Run Bible Church, where she participated with the WOW ministry and added beauty to Sunday services with her handmade altar flowers.

Patty was a regular at the local YMCA, where she delighted in water aerobics, sharing her spunky energy and friendly chatter with fellow members. She could often be found bird watching, gardening or spending time with her cat.

Those who knew Patty will remember her as a woman who would do anything for anyone and leave you with a smile after a long delightful conversation.

Surviving are her children, David Snyder (Joanne) of Cogan Station, Daniel Snyder (Cathy) of Linden, and Dwayne Snyder (Donna) of Kingston, NY; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Joey), Shawn (Eric), Stephanie (Chad), Drew, Jamie, Jessica (Sam) and Melanie; 10 great-grandchildren, Zoie, LJ, Tanner (Shawna), Allison, David, Madison (Josh), Kayliegh, Aubrianna, Sophia, and Chase; and three great-great grandchildren, Alayla, Cayson, and Ellis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, George L. Snyder; and four siblings, Tom, Frank, Ken, and Ann.

The family will hold a celebration of Patty’s life at 6 p.m., Monday, June 17 at Pine Run Bible Church, 1719 Pine Run Rd, Linden.
