Patricia Ann Letterman, 80
Patricia Ann Letterman, 80, of Lock Haven Pa., passed peacefully from these earthly bonds while surrounded by family at the Gatehouse in Williamsport on March 3, 2026.
Patricia, who went by Pat or Patty, was born on March 7, 1945 in Bradford, Pa. to Charles W. Callahan and Mary (Molly) Laramy Callahan. She graduated from Bradford Area High School in 1963 and was voted May Queen as a senior. She married Richard R. Kline Jr. and graduated from Rochester Business Institute in 1965 with a Medical Secretary Certificate. Patty started her work career at Dresser Manufacturing Co. in Bradford before she and Dick relocated to Lock Haven. She worked for a short time at Sprout-Waldron in Muncy before dedicating her life to raising her young family. She went “back to work” first at Lock Haven Hospital as a secretary in the Radiology Department, followed by twenty four years at Roberts and Miceli Law Office, where she was the super-organized, efficient and beloved secretary for Frank Miceli, Esq. Patty retired in 2011. Patty married the love of her life, Williard Letterman on June 29, 1996.
Ask anyone who knew her; Patty was the kindest, gentlest soul and a world class gift giver. She was always thinking of others, especially her grandchildren. She was active and had many interests. She bowled, sewed, knitted, cross-stitched, read voraciously, made the best pie crust and Christmas cut-out cookies you ever had, always had a jigsaw puzzle going, and loved hosting family birthdays and holidays. In retirement, she worked and then volunteered for Keystone Central School District in various offices and cafeterias. She was also, for a time, she was  the Recording Secretary for the Lock Haven City Council meetings, and Judge of Elections for the First Ward.
Patty is survived by her two children, Todd (Nancy) Kline of Lock Haven, and Molly (Colby) Irvin of Beech Creek, a stepson Scott (Missy) Letterman of Lewisburg, a brother Dr. Joseph (Sadie) B. Callahan of Durham NC, a sister, Sally (John) Drew or Port St. Lucie, FL, her grandchildren, Nicholas (Katelynn Vaccaro) Kline of Pine Grove Mills, Elisabeth (Justin Anan) Kline of Lock Haven, Kathryn (Jake Daniel) Kline of Washington D.C, and Selia Irvin of Beech Creek; a step grandson, Joshua Barrett of Williamsport, and many nieces, nephews, and grand doggies.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Letterman in 2014, her brother Charles W. (Chuck) Callahan Jr. in 2025, and her step daughter Shannon Simmons in 2025.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremations Services, LLC., 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa  17745. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Pastor Rick Conkin will be officiating.
