Noreen Ranney, 72, of Avis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Timothy Ranney. Noreen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Stornelli) Realmuto, of Buffalo, N.Y.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jerry Vincent, of Watsontown; a daughter Marisa (James) Hoffman, of Montoursville; grandchildren Garrett, Gavin, James (Kyle), Lacy; and four great-grandchildren.

Noreen worked at S&J Recycling, Inc. before retiring. She loved traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.

But the most important part of Noreen’s life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to watch her grandsons Garret and Gavin Hoffman wrestle in high school to college.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Pastor Robert Parrish officiating. Burial will be private in Green Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mountain View alliance Church, 1515 Cemetery St., Jersey Shore, Pa. 1774.
