Ned E. Farley, Sr. 84, of Elimsport passed away on Saturday January 25, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport. Ned and his wife the former Janice Koes were married on March 7, 1981 and spent 43 years together.
Ned was born on October 28, 1940 in Elimsport and was the son of Merhl and Martha Sealy Farley.
He was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery High School and was a dairy farmer his entire life. Ned was a member of White Deer Valley Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, gardening and animals. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In addition to his wife he is survived by ten children, Janice (Gary) Miller, Elimsport, John (Holly) Knopp, Lancaster, Jay (Kimberly) Knopp, Elimsport, Ned “Gene” (Mary) Farley, Allenwood, Thomas (Vanessa) Farley, Lewistown, Billy Houseknech, Indiana, PA, Jason Houseknech, Williamsport, Stacey Farley, Charolette, NC, John Farley, Anderson, SC, Sean Farley, Williamsport; three brothers, Ivan (Kay) Farley, Elimsport, Paul (Dale Marie) Farley, New Oxford, Max (Cindy) Farley, Elimsport; two sisters, Hilda (Bob) Sampsell, Elimsport, Jone Bowersox, MD; Twenty one grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and his furry friend, Pooky Bear.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company, 15933 S. State Route 44, Allenwood, PA17810. A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to White Deer Valley Baptist Church, 572 White Deer Baptist Church Road, Allenwood, PA 17810.
