Mrs. Anne E. (McFadden) Hayes, of 212 Jerome Ave., Williamsport, died peacefully on Sept. 13, 2018, in the serenity of her home where the infinite mercy of God took over for the loving care of her family.
Anne was born in Williamsport, on Dec. 8, 1932, the daughter of Joseph H. and Gertrude V. (Coleman) McFadden.
She was the widow of Gary A. Hayes Jr. and preceded in death by her first-born twin son, Jeff Hayes. She also now rests with her other nine McFadden siblings, Bernard, Joe, Ray, Richard, Robert, Eleanor (Cosentine), Mary Jane (Sr. Bernetta, SCC), Virginia (Dahlgren) and Claire (Peck).
She leaves behind her children, Greg (Phyllis), Cindy, David, Beth Beattie (Tim), Kevin (Justine) and Brian (Diane); wonderful nieces, nephews and extended family and friends, especially Sheldon Jones; her 18 grandchildren, Stacey Holt (Justin), Nicole Miller (Tim), Greg Jr., Eric Schreppel, Chad Schreppel (Tara), Melissa Dersham (Eric), Chris Beattie (Lauren), Katelyn Beattie, Matthew Beattie, Michael Beattie, Stephen Beattie, Shawn Beattie, Nicholas Beattie, Sophie, Natalie, Addison, Gabriel and Jessica; and her six great-grandchildren, Caden and Aubrey Holt, Aubrey Schreppel, Hadlee Dersham, Layla and Luke Beattie; and two surviving sisters-in-laws, Mary and Mildred McFadden.
Anne was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Williamsport. She was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and faithfully gave of her time, treasure and talent to the church. She tirelessly cared for her family, relatives and loved ones physically, mentally and spiritually.

There will be no visitation.
A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial by Monsignor McGough and Father Bill Corcoran will be held in St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
