Mildred B. Huss, 97, of South Williamsport passed away on August 7, 2019 at Rose View. Her husband, Eugene R. Huss, passed away in 1985.

Mickey was born on April 7, 1922 in Mill Hall and was the daughter of Christian and Minnie Poorman Hanna Harman.

She was a 1941 graduate of Lock Haven High School. Mickey retired from Ray-O-Vac in 1981 following 35 years of service. She was a member of South Williamsport United Methodist Church, Eastern Starr, Williamsport Chapter 321, AARP, ABC Ladies bowling league for 45 years. Mickey volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was an avid baker, enjoyed canning and freezing her produce from her garden. Mickey was an avid Penn State football fan and never missed a game when she held season tickets for eighteen years.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by her six brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Fairview Cemetery, Millheim, PA.

The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions in Mildred’s name be made to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.
