Michael P. “Mike” Croyle, 73

Michael P. “Mike” Croyle, 73, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Mike was born on July 24, 1951 in Pottsville and was the son of the late Benjamin H. and Mary Jane (Orphan) Croyle. He had graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1969. Mike retired from Coca-Cola after 26 years of service in 2013. Prior to his time at Coca-Cola, Mike had worked at Bethlehem Steel, East End Lumber and drove truck for Montour Auto Service Company. After retiring from Coca-Cola, Mike stayed busy with part-time jobs at the Hiawatha River Park doing landscaping and more recently doing valet parking for UPMC where he enjoyed chatting with his co-workers and patients.

Family and friends were important to Mike. From his younger years of coaching his son’s soccer team, playing on a pool league and family vacations to Myrtle Beach to his later years of never missing a grandchild’s birthday party. Mike always put family first. He was also an avid sports fan and loved rooting on his beloved Eagles and Nittany Lions.

Mike is survived by his wife of 47 years; the former Sandra J. “Sandy” (Tenon), one son; Michael K. Croyle (Corissa) of Montoursville, one step-daughter; Stacey Shadick of Cogan Station, three grandchildren; Sawyer, Ryder and Avianna Croyle, one sister; Kathleen Mertz of Bath, one sister-in-law; Diane Tenon of Williamsport and one brother-in-law; Tom Tenon of North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Yvonne Miller and one brother; Thomas Croyle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, Williamsport.
