Mary L. Mitchell, 84, of South Williamsport, died November 1, 2019, at Roseview Center.
She was born July 19, 1935, in Lycoming County, a daughter of the late John and Ruby A. (Coley) Duffield.
Mary retired from the former Williamsport Hospital as a unit clerk. She enjoyed puzzles and board games.
In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, Earl G. Mitchell and a sister, Sylvia A. Moon.
Surviving are a son, Glenn S. (Dorothy) Mitchell, of South Williamsport; a brother, Donald (Alma) Duffield, of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Felicia (Adam) Mitchell-Sober, Megan Mitchell, and Melissa Lewis; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Rev. Richard M. Barner officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
