Mary D. Robertson, 96, formerly of Clarkesville, TN passed away peacefully on December 9, 2020 at Valley View Nursing Center in Montoursville, PA.
She was born on August 23, 1924, in Plymouth, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Satur Ditchko.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thurman G. Robertson; four brothers: Simon, Michael, Theodore and Nicholas Ditchko; and sisters, Ann Resetar and Helen Pstrak.
She is survived by niece, Nancy Grausam, of Montoursville and several other endeared nieces and nephews who span three generations.
Mary and her husband made many happy memories in their life together…first on the farm in Clarkesville and then, during retirement, taking bus tours to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. While at home, they enjoyed attending events (especially dances) at the Ajax Turner Senior Center where Mary volunteered serving lunches and socializing with the many friends she treasured.
While residing in Clarkesville, she was an active member of the Pleasantville Baptist Church. A person of strong faith, Mary was humble, asked little of others and genuinely appreciated each and every kindness shown to her. We were blessed to have had Mary with us for a long lifetime of memories and will miss her dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home in Clarkesville, TN.
