Mark S. Roupp, 55

Mark S. Roupp, 55, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home. Surviving is his loving wife Maureen R. (English) Roupp.

Born January 7, 1964 in Williamsport, he was a son of Gary A. and Nancy R. (Shaffer) Roupp.

Mark was a graduate of Williamsport High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. for four years. After an honorable discharge he was employed by Stone Container for 20 years, First Quality and most recently was employed with General Cable. Mark was a lifelong member of Fall Creek Hunting club where he served as treasurer and also of Gesang Verein Harmonia.

Mark enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid gardener of vegetables and enjoyed his beautiful yard. He really enjoyed being outdoors, being with his sons, brother and Dad at the hunting club. Mark loved traveling to the beach with his wife and family. He also liked a good game of occasional poker or cards. He had a very special love and affection for his two dogs Lilly and Bella. Mark was a caring, kind, generous, easy going person. He was a dedicated son and very loving and caring father and husband. He will be missed dearly by family and many friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his two sons, Joshua S. Roupp (Tera Stringfellow) of Montoursville and Ryan H. Roupp (Renee) of Williamsport, and a brother Michael D. Roupp (Kelly Warner) of Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary A. Roupp on December 9, 2017.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mark will be held 11 A.M. Monday, January 14 at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond Street Williamsport. Military honors will follow. A viewing will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at Sanders Mortuary. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to the American Cancer Society 1948 East Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701 in memory of his late father.
