Marjorie L. Marcusky, 87, a long-time resident of Cogan Station passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 with family at her bedside.

Born April 16, 1938 in White Haven, PA she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Marion (Leyfert) Kephart.

She was a homemaker and raised her five children after the untimely death of her husband, William J. Marcusky in 1969.

In earlier years, she loved gardening and would line the front of the house with many marigold plants. She painted ceramics for many years and everyone admired the pieces she created. One time she painted 500 custom mugs for members of an area golf course.

Marjorie loved cats and had many throughout the years that she spoiled.

In her later years, she enjoyed seeing the many deer that came in her backyard. She watched the antics of the chipmunks that frequented her patio and she fed them tons of peanuts. Birds of all kinds intrigued her, especially the hummingbirds and cardinals.

Surviving are her daughters, Sondra and Debra of Williamsport; Linda (Mike) Shelmire of Trout Run; Diane (Peter) Salamone and Dora Marcusky, Daughter-in-law, of Cogan Station; Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Marcusky; her long-time companion, Ed Deljanovan; her son Michael W. Marcusky; and a grandson, William M. Marcusky.

Per her wishes, there will not be a public viewing. Interment will be in Mount Carmel at Wildwood Cemetery on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside service. Anyone wishing to attend should park on the side of Cemetery Road leading into Wildwood Cemetery by 9:45 a.m.
