Marian L. Harman, 90, of Hughesville, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center-Danville. Born April 1, 1934, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late John and Vera (Rupert) Nickles. In 1957, she married Lewis N. “Lew” Harman and shared 64 loving years of marriage before his passing in 2022.

Marian enjoyed gardening, canning, and working on the farm with her husband. She was a devoted homemaker who valued time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an active, life-long member of Moreland Baptist Church in Muncy.

Surviving are her children, Judy Harman, Jane (Chuck) Opp, David (Robin) Harman, Dean (Jennie) Harman, all of Hughesville, and Susan (Ken) Youmans, of Muncy, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Nickles.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Rd. Muncy, Pennsylvania, with her son, Pastor David Harman officiating. Burial will follow at Moreland Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions made in Marian’s name to the Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Road, Muncy, Pa., 17756.
