Margaret A. (Rider) Kratzer, 75, of Dewart, died Monday, December 2, 2024 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born on March 17, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Edna (Shipley) Rider.
On March 16, 1968, Margaret married the late Maynard S. Kratzer and they celebrated 55 years of marriage together until his death on November 14, 2022.
She was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1957. After school she went on to work as a seamstress her entire career. She enjoyed arranging flowers, and drawing but most of all, Margaret loved her family and the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Tracy L. and Jeremey Rhoades of Milton, eight grandchildren and their spouses; Vanessa Diehl, Brittany and Levi Yost, Danielle Miller, Kaelyn Fogelman, Gavin Fogelman, Bryn Rhoades, Jayar Rhoades and Bruce Cox, 11 great grandchildren; Gwendolyn Fisher, Carsyn Diehl, Dallis Miller, Kensington Miller, Bayleigh Miller, Hunter Miller, Bella Specht, Jaylnn Yost, Jayden Yost, Brielle Yost and Lillian Yost, two brothers; Kenneth Rider of Watsontown and Ed Rider of New Columbia and one sister; Rosana Young of Milton.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by two daughters; Lisa M. Kratzer and Peggy A. Cox, one grandson; Brayden S. Cox, two brothers; Gary Rider and Sam Rider and one sister; Nancy Shemory.

A viewing will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Christ Wesleyan Church, Davis Chapel, 363 Stamm Road, Milton, PA 17837 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Holly Mestach officiating. Those in attendance are asked to please use the Davis Chapel entrance for the services. Graveside services will take place on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
