Louis Dunston Goins III, born October 9th, 1966, left this earth and entered heaven in his Savior’s arms on December 29, 2024.

His mother, Heather, was by his side and held him in her arms as Jesus took Louie to his eternal home. Heather is at peace knowing she will be united with him one day, as they both believe with their hearts and confessed with their mouths that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins, paid for their sins with his blood, and He rose again the third day.

Louie was and is the love of Heather’s life.

Louie was known for his kindness and his diligence in everything he did. Louie was an Eagle Scout. Louie’s artistic gift was noticed at a young age. Louie was a graduate from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was a graduate from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Louie spent his career as a designer and sketcher for Calvin Klein in New York City.

One of Louie’s highlights of coming home to visit his mother was relaxing on Heather’s deck watching the deer.

Louie fought a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Louis was preceded in death by his father Louis Goins Jr. In addition to his devoted mother, Louie has many aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him and will miss him dearly.

Louie is survived by his beloved dog, Winston, who will be living with his devoted grandmother, Heather.

A graveside memorial will take place to celebrate Louie’s eternity with Jesus.
