Linda L. Drum, 75, of Williamsport, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at AristaCare at Loyalsock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer H. Drum.
Born Oct. 30, 1942, in Johnson City, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Ivan H. and Ruth (Frey) Canfield.
Linda attended Canton High School and later received her GED in 1986 at the age of 44.
Linda loved going to yard sales, was a talented poet, and an avid Elvis fan. Her passion was being a grandmother and she cherished spending time with her family.
Surviving are two sons, Russel W. Drum (Janine), of Riner, Va. and Elmer Jacob Drum, of Williamsport; a daughter, Pebbles Comolli (Dave), of New Bloomfield; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Rollie (Norma), of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Sandi (Bill), of Chattanooga, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Rae Drum; great-grandson, Henry Drum; and seven brothers and sisters.
A memorial service to honor the life of Linda will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to a charity of donor’s choice.
