Laurie J. Horning, 59, of South Williamsport passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the Gatehouse.

Born January 12, 1965 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Patricia (Dibble) Knauss.

Laurie was a 1983 graduate of South Williamsport High School. She attended South Williamsport United Methodist Church.

Her passion for music, especially the songs of Freddie Mercury, was only rivaled by the love she held for her family. Laurie cherished every opportunity to be with her daughter, nieces and nephews. Her love extended beyond her family to the many animals she cared for over the years. She had the ability to light up any room she entered, and her laughter, often punctuated by her signature snorts, was infectious. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her.

Surviving is a daughter, Melissa Robbins (Joel); a step-daughter, Felicia Beaver; her sisters, Robin Fuess (Fred) and Kristine Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
