Larry N. “Butch” Rupert, Jr., 56

Larry N. “Butch” Rupert, Jr., 56, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport. Butch was born June 24, 1968, in Muncy, and was married to his loving wife, Karmen, for 35 years.

Butch was previously employed as a laborer and school bus driver. He was an active member of the New Covenant Assembly of God Church in Montgomery. Butch was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events- whether it was a softball, soccer, or cheerleading game. He was an avid outdoorsman, Assistant Scoutmaster and loved camping, hunting and fishing. He also loved to ride his motorcycle in the 9/11 ride every year. Butch was a very hardworking and dependable man, always lending a helping hand to his friends and family.

Butch is survived by his wife, Karmen, of Montgomery; a daughter, Kamilah (Brian) Jackson, of Montgomery; a son, Kameron Rupert, of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kingston, and Kohlston Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Kevin (Vicky) Bartlow and Kash (Elaine) Bartlow; a sister-in-law, Kelly (Mike) Bieber; a sister, Kelly Zink; and two brothers, Shawn and Chad Rupert.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday May 23, at the New Covenant Assembly of God Church, 1270 Pinchtown Rd, Montgomery, PA 17752.

The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the New Covenant Assembly of God Church.
