Kenneth M. Sunderland, 81, of Newberry, passed away on May 19, 2022 at UPMC Muncy Valley Hospital.
He was born November 25, 1940 in Williamsport, son of William J. H. and Letitia (Gramley) Sunderland.
Kenneth graduated from Williamsport High School in 1959, he then served in the Marines during the Vietnam war. He retired from Textron. He was a member of the Polish Club, and he had been an avid softball player, bowler, and later became an avid Nascar fan and attended many races, he also enjoyed his corvettes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William J., Bob, Chill, Dick, and Ron Sunderland; sisters, Gladys Sayetta and Arlene Morrison.
He is survived by his brother, Don Sunderland of Montoursville; sister, Joan Demarest of Linden; daughter, Michelle Letitia (Jason) Metzger of Montoursville; grandchild, Emerson Metzger; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing for family and friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, PA 17754. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Military Honors accorded by Lycoming County Korean War Veterans.
