Kenneth Leroy Kreidler, 71

Kenneth Leroy Kreidler, 71, went to his Heavenly Home on Monday, February 5 surrounded by his family at his home in Loganton.

Ken was born in Lock Haven on September 7, 1952 to Charles and Isabel (Baney) Kreidler. He graduated from BEN High School in 1970 and earned an Associate’s degree with honors from PA College of Technology in 1995. He served in the United States Army and PA National Guard retiring after 22 years of service.

On August 26, 1989 he married the love of his life, Susan (Cooper) Kreidler. They enjoyed traveling to see new places, especially enjoying the Grand Canyon and the alligators in Florida. After retiring they loved camping in their travel trailer. They were blessed to complete a bucket list item by traveling to Germany last August where they celebrated 34 years of marriage.

One of Ken’s biggest joys was spending time with his family. He is survived by 6 children: Stephanie (Philip) Porter of Rote, Jennifer (West Shultz) of Lock Haven, Earl (Shanon) Culvey III of Salona, Beth (Joshua) Culvey Zannella of Lock Haven, Jennifer (John) O’Connor of Mechanicsburg and Jennifer Kreidler of Lebanon, PA.

He is also survived by a sister, Judy (Bob) Peter of Liverpool, NY. Ken loved tormenting his 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Ken was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Ann (Manny) Bueno and a brother Charles ‘Gus’ Kreidler. He also had to say goodbye to a granddaughter, Teagan MacSkimming.

A Celebration of Life service with full military honors by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard will be held on Thursday, February 15th at 12:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to service at the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Kinley of the Lock Haven Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to The Pregnancy Resource Clinic, 423 S. Pugh St, State College, PA 16801.
