Kenneth L. Culvey, II, 63, of Mill Hall passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at UPMC – Susquehanna.
Born on September 4, 1954 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. and Dorothy M. Yost Culvey.
Ken was a graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
He was employed at Avery Denison as a Chemical Technician for 46 years.
On October 10, 2010, he married the former Cindy Smith who survives.
He was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsman’s Club.
Ken was a lifetime fan of the New England Patriots. He was also an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and NASCAR.
He enjoyed going to hunting camp with his work buddies.
A favorite pastime was sitting out back watching the birds and thunderstorms.
Most important to Ken was the time he spent with his children and grandchildren, especially following his grandchildren’s sporting events.
In addition to his wife, Cindy of Mill Hall, he is survived by Kenneth (Alicia) Culvey, III of Mill Hall, James (Jenna) Culvey of Coudersport and Thomas (Erica) Culvey of Mill Hall; a step-son, David Dickey, Jr. of Blanchard; a brother, Melvin (Sharon) Culvey of McElhattan; a sister, Dorothy (Richard) Schenck of Mill Hall; and nine grandchildren: Jillian, Taylor, James, Cayden, Isabell, Emma, Jaelyn, Leroy and Carrah.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cyrri.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 6 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Mark Riley officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ken’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association as a memorial to his Mother.
