Kenneth E. Kelley, 94, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at The Muncy Place.
He was born on June 28, 1926, in Williamsport, the son of the late Archie P. and Ruth (Hiner) Kelley.
He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1944, was a World War II Army Air Force veteran, worked at Pickelner Heating Company and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where he was also a member. He was a member of the VFW, the Civil Air Patrol for 35 years and was Squadron Commander of #401. He enjoyed card playing, gardening, being with his grandkids and was always busy remodeling.
He was preceded in death by his 13 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are three sons, Robert J. (Muzzanne) Kelley, of Izmir, Tukey, Michael P. (Donna) Kelley, of Dover, DE., Donald H. (Lynette) Kelley, of Cheyene, Wyoming; three daughters, Martha R. (Gerry) Galarneau, of Phoenix, AZ., Christene L. Kelley-Jones, of Philadelphia, and Scarlett K. Williams, of Williamsport; 18 grandchildren, and a horde of great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside life celebration on Monday, October 26, 11:30 a.m., at St. Michaels Lutheran Church Cemetery, Anthony Township with Kenneth’s son, Elder Donald H. Kelley officiating.
There will be a viewing for family and friends Monday, 10-11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.
We will be following all CDC guidelines pertaining to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing will be enforced.
