Kathryn A. McCarty, 78, of Forksville, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at The Highlands Care Center, Laporte.

Born December 5, 1945, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Kermit and Larue (Rook) Henninger. Kathryn married Richard McCarty on October 17, 1991, celebrating 32 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Olney High School, Philadelphia, PA. Kathryn loved flower gardens, crocheting and knitting.

Surviving in addition to her husband Richard, are two sons, George Schneider, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Thomas Jordan, of NJ; and four grandchildren, Joshua and Maria Schneider, Paige (Cecel) Jordan, and Matthew Jordan.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
