Julienne M. “Judy” (Poelvoorde) Whipple Trautner, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born on June 21, 1929, in Newfield, NY, Judy later moved to Williamsport, PA, where she raised her family and remained for the rest of her life. She was employed by GTE Sylvania in Muncy, PA, and was a dedicated employee for many years.

Judy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved baking, knitting, gardening, working on puzzles and playing cards with family and friends. She was also devoted to her church and generously shared her time and talents by baking and helping with dinners and special events.

Judy will be remembered as a loving, kind, caring, and compassionate woman. Her warmth generosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her family, caring for others, and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Richard) Flook; her grandchildren, Christina (Marc), Kenneth, Dawn, Charles, Michael, and Mindy; and her great-grandchildren, Desirae (Tayler), and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Whipple; her brothers, Marshall, Albert, Leon and Robert; her sister, Evelyn; her first husband, Tyson R. Whipple, Jr.; her second husband, Andrew Trautner; and her grandson, Mark.

A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
