Joyce E. Campbell, 89, of Cogan Station, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the Williamsport Home.

Born September 16, 1936 in Washingtonville, she was a daughter of the late Howard D. and Daisy I. (Arthur) Confer.

Joyce worked at Cobblers, Shop-Vac and later dedicated herself to caring for the homes of others, where she formed many meaningful friendships. She enjoyed walking, reading, cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. Joyce attended Christian Church at Cogan Station.

Surviving are her children, Vicki L Schnider (Louis) of Cocoa, FL, Tammie J. Wool (James) of Cogan Station and Susan Mahaffey (Darrin) of Linden; siblings, George A. Confer, Richard W. Confer, Carol V. Confer and Nancy W. Bloom; grandchildren, Ashley Scott (Danny), James Wool (Kelly), Kristen Morse (Travis), Amanda Phillippi (John), Rantz Mahaffey (Sadie), Jared Mahaffey and great grandchildren, Kellynn, Kaisley, Brooke, Corbin, Madison, Benjamin, Norah, Kaleb, Teagan, Jackson, Calvin, Lincoln, Maelynn and Mylah.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William F. Campbell; a son, Barry W. Campbell; a granddaughter, Jennifer Bair and siblings, A. Lynn Confer, Donald L. Confer, June M. Green, Lois M. Ball and Faye A. Bassett.

A memorial service to honor the life of Joyce will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 5th at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joyce’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
