Joyce A. (Fink) Way, age 70, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 5, 2023, surrounded by her husband of 52 years, her three children and her beloved daughter-in-law.
Joyce was born, along with her twin sister and best friend, Janice, on January 10, 1953, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Laurence D. and Helen Ruth Lorson Fink. Joyce met Rick, the love of her life, in 9th grade, and they went on to marry and raise their three children in Williamsport.
Her greatest joy was her family. She loved being a mother and reveled in being a grandmother, or Meme’ as her grandchildren called her, even more. Whether it was playing board games, being outdoors with them, or taking them for ice cream, Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her love of Jesus was evident in every interaction she had with others and in how she lived her life. Joyce was a member of The Christian Church of Cogan Station, where she served as secretary until her retirement.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Richard R. Way, Sr., her children Tammy (Randy) Kutz, Amy (Eugene Colegrove) Cipriani, Richard (Heather) Way, Jr. and her beloved grandchildren, Kyle and Trevor Cipriani, Katherine and Nicholas Kutz, Beatrix and Benjamin Way. She is also survived by her six siblings, Jean Crawford, Laurence (Buddy) Fink, JoAnn Wright, Carol Gamble, Donna Chapman and her twin sister, Janice Hornberger, three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Joyce’s memory to the children’s ministry at The Christian Church of Cogan Station at http://www.cccs.church.com.
