Joseph K. Harmon, Jr., 82 of Williamsport passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport. Joseph and his wife the former Frances J. Douglas were married on August 17, 1963 and celebrated 62 years together.

He was born on May 19, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the son of Joseph K., Sr. and Alice Munro Harmon.

Joseph was a 1962 graduate of Williamsport High School and retired from the school district in 2004 as a Sanitation Engineer supervisor. Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting Matchbox cars, BINGO, bowling, and all kind of toys. Most of all he enjoyed time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher (Lisa) Harmon, East Lake, OH, David (Wendy) Harmon. Hughesville; one daughter, Beth (Francis) Lee, Cogan Station; one sister, Linda Echenhour; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 noon. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Greenview Alliance Church, 1955 Warrensville Rd., Montoursville with Reverend Ron Raymer officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the church.
