John A. Radspinner, Jr., 73, of Loyalsock Township, died Nov. 23, 2022 at his residence.
He was born May 9, 1949, in Texas City, Texas, a son of the late Dr. John A., Sr. and Mary Helen (McMillan) Radspinner.
John attended the former St. Joseph High School and graduated from Williamsport High School in 1967. He received his associate degree from W.A.C.C. and then worked at Diebold. He was a musician, playing guitar for over 50 years, most notably with The Mantels, Prince Charles and the Royaltones, Prizm, and Main Street.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Louise Tourscher.
Surviving is his wife of 18 years, the former Marguerite E. Shaffer; son, Matthew A. (Anna) Radspinner of Williamsport; daughter, Jody A. Schefsky of Trout Run; step children, Mary (Jeff) Sheaffer of Montoursville, Ann (Chris) Davidson of Maryland, and Joseph (Rachel) Murphy of Lebanon; and 12 grandchildren.
A life celebration will be announced at a later date.
