On Thursday December 5, 2019, I met my Lord and Savior at the gate as he was waiting with opened arms for me. Oh what love, I left my earthly home for my heavenly home.
I leave behind my beloved wife of 60 years, Ruth Ramona (Way) Lesko along with my precious daughters, Michele Marie Merrill, of Williamsport, and Christine Renee Sneeringer (Frank) of New Oxford; grandchildren, Melissa Goodell (Samson Astin), William Goodell (Asia), Madeline Stradley, Matthew Zuber, Travis Zuber; step-grandchildren, Kirsten and Josh Sneeringer; nine great-grandchildren; brothers- in- law and sisters-in- law; countless nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to my parents, Andrew and Elizabeth (Miller) Lesko, I was greeted at the gate by a sister, Vera Grace Getz and grandson, Brice Goodell.
It was said anyone who ever met John A. Lesko, fell in love with him. He will be missed greatly because he loved life, enjoyed having fun and was a great fisherman.
