Jason M. Shirk, 45, of Montoursville, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home after an extended illness. He was born September 23, 1972, in Williamsport, a son of W. Brent and Mary Ann Keefer Shirk.

Jason was a 1991 graduate of Montoursville High School and had attended Penn College. He worked for Norka, and was a car enthusiast, especially Volvo. He enjoyed going to Watkins Glen, riding his bike, and listening to music by Billy Joel. He was kindhearted, with a jovial sense of humor and a great love for his family.

In addition to his father of Montoursville and his mother of South Williamsport, he is survived by his sons, Jason C., Tristian J. and Cooper J., all at home, and his sister, Rachel L. (Sandy) Voellinger of Bumpass, VA.

An informal celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Saturday, June 9, at 4:00 p.m. at the Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., Montoursville, with the Rev. David C. Smith officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Camp Susque, 47 Susque Camp Rd., Trout Run, PA 17771. Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
