Irvin F. Kepner, 91, of Hughesville, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Wolf Run Village.
Born April 26, 1933, in Hughesville, he was a son of the late Harry and Martha (Snyder) Kepner.
Upon leaving high school, Irvin could be found working on the farm. He later joined the Army in 1954, and served honorably during the Korean War until 1956, when he was discharged. He was always finding ways to help others and truly being an inspiration for his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Regina (Todd) Narber, of Hughesville, and Marty (Mike) Reed, of Athens; three grandsons, Tom (Amy) Reed, of Wayland, N.Y., Brian (Rachael) Narber, of Picture Rocks, and Jeremy (Jenny) Narber, of Muncy; a granddaughter, Heather (Shawn) Millard, of Duboistown; nine great-grandchildren, Cole, Rhett, Ciana, Lacie, Natalia, Jason, Rebecca, Konner, and Jayce; and a sister-in-law Mary Kepner, of Hughesville.
