Howard R. “Bill” Hagerman, Jr., 79

Howard R. “Bill” Hagerman, Jr., age 79 of Cascade Twp., died Saturday, November 5, at his home.

Born September 24, 1943 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Howard R. and Lois (Yeagle) Hagerman. Bill was a graduate of the Williamsport High School and attended Lycoming College. He owned and operated Precision Mechanical in New Jersey, and retired to the Wallis Run area. He lived for his family and will be greatly missed. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods. He was a member of the 1000 Yard Bench Club, and was inducted into its Hall of Fame.

Surviving is a daughter, Kelly L. Hagerman and her son, Kerry Travers, of Trout Run; a son, Leslie W. Hagerman and his wife Allison and their children, Luke and Kate, of West Long Branch, NJ; two sisters, Carol M. Berrigan of Houston, TX, Sandra L. Snyder and her husband David of Williamsport; a niece, Valerie L. Snyder; nephews, David H. Snyder, and Ryan, Douglas, and Kevin Berrigan; and cousins, Merle and Cole Wilcox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former Linda M. Wilcox.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 10, at 11 A.M. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, by Rev. Peter C. Wilson who will officiate. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Montoursville. Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. prior to the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Howard’s name to the Calvary Baptist Church, 42 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
