Harriet R. “Heidi” Milheim, 92

Harriet R. “Heidi” Milheim, 92, a resident of Muncy, PA, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 in the UPMC Muncy Valley Hospital. Born Saturday, January 21, 1928 in Penn Twp., Lycoming Co., PA she was a daughter of the late William G. and Minnie M. (Derrick) Rupert. She was the widow of Maynard Milheim who preceded her in death on October 12, 2010. His death completed a joyous marriage of over 62 years.

Harriet was employed by the Rochelle Furniture Factory, Issac Decker Co. at Montgomery and was retired from HON Industries at Williamsport.

Harriet was a member of Muncy Presbyterian Church and a member of Watsontown Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, canning and baking. There was always something delicious being prepared in her kitchen. She enjoyed the company of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Dale M. and wife Sharon Milheim of Sarasota, FL; Doyle L. Milheim of Muncy, PA; Patricia A. Wilson of Muncy, PA and Paula S. and husband Randy Bolig of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sean Milheim; Chadd Milheim; Jason McHenry; Brad Wilson; Misty Prokop; Cortney Robbins; Kaylyn Stanton and 13 great-grandchildren, Jayden Wilson; Brendon Wilson; Logan Phillips; Sara Kunda; Logan Nalpas; Kylie Milheim; Brayden Milheim; Harley McHenry; Zack McHenry; Riley Robbins; Jocelin Robbins; Annika Stantonand Allen Scott. In addition to her husband, Harriet was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Lynn Wilson; 5 brothers, Owen Rupert; Leon Rupert; Carl Rupert; Nile Rupert; Gordon Rupert and 2 sisters, Velma M. Bergerstock and V. June Reed.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from the Muncy Presbyteriam Church, 10 East Penn Street, Muncy with Reverend Robert L. Dunkelberger, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main Street, Muncy where an Eastern Star Memorial service will be conducted at 6:45 P.M. Interment will be in the Muncy Cemetery.
