Gladys P. Greenly, 87, of Preserve Road, Danville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Grandview Nursing and Rehab, Danville.
Born March 29, 1936 in Turbotville, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Thelma I. (Whitmoyer) Snyder. She was a 1954 graduate of Turbotville High School and had worked at the former Weldon Company, and later Turbotville Dress Company until retiring.
She loved audio books, country music, John Wayne movies, answering puzzle questions, and watching Jeopardy.
Surviving are three children: a daughter, Mary I. Little and her husband Robert of Hughesville; two sons, Matt S. Greenly and his wife Holly A. of Millville, and Lucas J. Greenly, Danville; three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Ralph Snyder of Muncy and Harvey Snyder of Turbotville.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were two sons: Mark P. and Jeffrey A. Greenly; a grandson, Max Newman, Jr.; a sister, Dorothy Poust; and three brothers: Harry, Frank, and Harold Snyder.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory be made to Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company.
