Garrett B. Smith, 40, of Trout Run, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at UMPC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center following complications he suffered after falling off a roof while at work. He was born March 24, 1978 in Williamsport a son of Dannie and Norma Moon Smith.

Garrett was a graduate of Montoursville High School. He had worked at Susquehanna Supply Co. and then started, and owned and operated Garrett B. Smith Excavating and General Contracting. He was a member of the Marine Corp League; enjoyed working, farming, and animal husbandry. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and truly loved his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest.

He was predeceased by his father; brother Dannie, and his father in law, Dr. Hugh Wilson.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Trout Run is his wife of only four short years Dr. Constance L. Wilson-Smith; his three year old son Garrett B. Smith, Jr. at home; mother in law, C. Lynn Wilson, and brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St. Montoursville.
