Gail L. Waltman, 70, of Williamsport died peacefully Tuesday, November 05, 2019 at ManorCare North.

Born February 21, 1949 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Blaine G. and Dorothy L. (Chilcoat) Waltman.

Gail was a 1967 graduate of Williamsport High School and was employed by Williamsport Hospital as an information clerk. She was a member of Anthony Baptist Church.

She enjoyed people, playing softball, playing games, bowling, and riding her lawn mower.

Surviving are her siblings, Deanna E. Bassett, of Williamsport, Franklin M. Waltman (Margaret), of Cortland, NY, and Evelyn M. Snell, of Williamsport; friend, Emily J. Wilcox; nieces and nephews, Robert, Timothy and Michael Bassett, Tracy and Todd Waltman, Denise and Jeffery Forseman, and Kimberly Snell; Merle Wilcox (Bonnie); and she was known as “GG” to Cole.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a niece, Terri Lynn Clement.

A memorial service to honor the life of Gail will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9 at Anthony Baptist Church, 4750 Quenshukeny Rd, Jersey Shore, PA 17740. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at church.
