Frederick T. (Fred) Morris, 85, of Williamsport passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 18, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Doris L. (Lusk) Morris.

Born March 2, 1938 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Frederick S. and Mary (Thompson) Morris.

Fred was a “jack-of-all-trades” but found his main passion in mechanics and motorcycles. In his early years, he was an avid motorcycle racer and was awarded many trophies. He could be found with dirty hands, tinkering with one motor or another and was always the man that neighbors turned to when they needed help with something mechanical. He spent his career as a Diesel Mechanic with PennDot for many years until retiring.

Fred was a family man who loved to spend time camping and working in his garage with those he loved. He also had many dear friends that will miss him greatly.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Cindy Eck (William) of Shavertown, and Shelly Holland of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Amanda Ruscavage (Joey), Michael, Matthew, and Shane Holland; and one great-grandchild, Leo Holland.

Fred was predeceased by both of his parents and a sister Gloria Jean Kelly.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
