Fred L. Robbins, 88, of Muncy, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center of Danville. Born November 2, 1933, in Danville, he was the son of Emory and Martha (Harris) Robbins. Fred married Freda Wallis on March 18, 1956 and shared 53 years of marriage.

Fred enjoyed farming and his John Deere tractors, going on rides in his Ford truck, sharing stories with his family, and going to breakfast and reminiscing with his friends, including dear friends Lois and Lester. Fred worked for Turbotville Block Co., Interstate Trucking, and Yellow Freight as a truck driver, retiring after 40 years of service. Fred attended Moreland Baptist Church.

Fred is survived by 4 daughters, Sharon (Stephen) Culver of Muncy, Cheryl (Michael) Scheffey of Elliottsburg, Sandy (Richard) Bradley of Hughesville, Christine Nearhoof of Muncy; a sister, Patsy (Donald) Price of Muncy, 2 nieces, 8 grandchildren, Dagan, Logan, Sarah, Sayre, Tanner, Justin, Nick, Cohen, and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his wife Freda Robbins on April 12, 2009, by a sister, Peg Robbins, and dear friend Alice.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

The family will provide flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Rd., Muncy, PA 17756.
