Frank R. Tallman, 73, of Montoursville, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2020 at UPMC Passavant.
He was born on November 16, 1946 in Muncy, the son of the late Frank T. and Elma R. (Moon) Tallman.
He was the devoted husband of Ernestine (Tina) Turner Tallman for 26 years.
Frank graduated from Montoursville High School in 1965, he retired as a Streets and Water Commissioner for the Borough of Montoursville where he gave them 42 years of service. He was a member of Camp Sandspring, St. Johns Newberry United Methodist Church and a faithful volunteer at West End Christian Community Center (WECCC).
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing cards, watching the grandkids play sports, spending time with family, spending his winters in Florida and fishing in Canada.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Jennifer (Dan Fredericks) Dawes and Jerri (Jimmy Rothermel) Rook; sister, Mary Seigel; brother, Robert Tallman; two grandchildren, Lacey Laylon and Raigan Fredericks; and four great-grandchildren, Rain, Rowan, Larkynn and Aspen.
There will be a graveside funeral service Monday, November 9, 12 p.m. at Pleasant Hills Cemetery with Rev. Lenore C. Hosier officiating.
A viewing for family and friends will be Monday, 10-11:30 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Johns Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or West End Christian Community Center, 901 Diamond St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
