Floyd “Buck” Reynolds, 67

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Floyd “Buck” Reynolds, of Hughesville, PA, an avid outdoorsman and lifelong hunter, who departed this world at the age of 67. Buck found his greatest joy in the outdoors, where he spent countless days pursing his passion for hunting and exploring the wilderness.

Born April 14, 1957, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Mark and Pauline (Shank) Reynolds. He and his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Reynolds, shared their life together for 37 years, often traveling together and spending their winters in Florida.

Whether tracking game, teaching others his love for the sport, or sharing stories around a campfire or at Deer Camp, Buck embodied the spirit of a hunter in the truest sense. Whether it was the thrill of the hunt, the excitement of pulling up a trap, the peace of casting a line, or the serenity of a sunset, he found joy and purpose in every moment spent outdoors.

Above all else, he especially cherished the time he spent with his loved ones, often bringing them into the outdoors to share his passion and to create memories that will last a lifetime. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and side by side rides with them. Among his many blessings, none brought him more pride and happiness than his grandchildren.

He was previously employed as a mason and worked for numerous companies throughout the years.

In addition to his wife, Roberta, of Hughesville, Buck is survived by a son, Jesse (Jamie) Reynolds of Hanover; a daughter, Amanda (Nik) Gower of Hanover; a stepson, George (Tamika) Warner of Hughesvile; seven grandchildren, Emily, Bradi, Gage, Georgia, Geir, Gwynna, and Aria; and a sister, Deborah (Douglas) Stewart of Robbinsville, NJ. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Matthew and Thomas Reynolds.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:00pm at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737. Immediately following, friends and family are welcome to gather for a luncheon at Hughesville Firehall, 30 S Railroad St, Hughesville, PA.
