Esther C. Fry, 94

Esther C. Fry, 94, of Montoursville, passed away on May 3, 2022 at The Gatehouse.

She was born January 9, 1928, in Mill Creek Township, Lycoming County, daughter of Miles and Mary (Ryder) Wilson.

Esther retired from Litton Industries. She was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church, and Thirty-Nine Plus. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, jigsaw puzzles, and being with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jacob “Jake” Fry; grandchildren, Joshua, Danie, and Michael; three brothers; daughter-in-law, Ann; and son-in-law, Bob.

She is survived by her children, Deanna L. Eisley, Thomas C. (Ann) Fry, Dennis L. (Pam) Fry, Pam J. (Ron) Gingery, Leslie A. McMillen, and Brenda K. (Joe) Neidig; sister, Alice (Tom) Peterman; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Twin Hills Memorial Park with Rev. David W. Trostle officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Fairfield United Methodist Church, 833 Fairfield Church Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
