Ernest William Guerriero, 82, of 917 W. Fourth St., Lock Haven, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

He was born in Lock Haven on February 20, 1937, the son of the late Robert L. and Linda Martella Guerriero.

Ernie was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and was employed at many different local entities throughout his life.

He was a lifelong member of Holy Spirt Catholic Parish and faithfully attended St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lock Haven. He will be dearly missed by his parish community that was so fortunate to know the kind and humble man that was Ernie.

Ernie was a kind and gentle person who took special care to spend time with the elderly and infirmed. He was an extremely intelligent person with a true love of self-education and intellectual conversation.

Ernie adored the relationship he had with his beloved dog, Asa, whom preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Guerriero.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 1 P.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745. Private burial will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County SPCA.
